Julie Wheelwright

I am a prize winning writer, known internationally for my books on women in espionage, military history and the ethics of life writing. I mentor writers as they work towards publication as well as lecture widely on narrative non-fiction writing. I am an accomplished broadcaster in television and radio, and my journalism has appeared in The Guardian, The Independent, The New Statesman, Red Magazine, The Times,  and Scotland on Sunday, among many other publications. I founded the UK’s first creative non-fiction MA at City, University of London, and have a PhD in Journalism.

Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
